【Subjects】17 subjects, male and female, ranging in age from 26 to 60.

【Test method】Washed the subjects' hands with soap and let them acclimate in a 20°C ± 1°C room for 20 minutes. Exposed the backs of the subjects' hands to water from the shower (temperature: 36.5°C ± 0.5°C; flow rate: 5.00 ± 1mL/min.) both without the bubble feature (with the ReFa FINE BUBBLE set to OFF) and with the bubble feature (with the ReFa FINE BUBBLE set to level 2) for 40 seconds at a time, before measuring the water content of the skin’s surface.

In order to make this technology available around the world and create an international standard, the Fine Bubble Industries Association (FBIA) was founded. ReFa FINE BUBBLE has worked together with the FBIA to collect evidence in support of its theories and advance fine bubble technology.
